Founded in 1925, the club has a rich history. Originally a team that played friendly fixtures, eventually going into the West Riding Old Boys league in 1928, where the lads at the time found an opportunity for serious and competitive games!
The team have always played up at West Park Playing Fields, in Horsforth. Even when the ground was owned by the school, it was the home of this club. In the late 1980's, the school was demolished and then in 2007, it was under the ownership of Leeds City Council, Parks and Leisure.
The club throughout its time has always had at least 2 teams playing, but in the 1968-1969 season, the mathmatics teacher at St. Chads Primary School approached the headmaster to start a third team into the club. It was granted and that first season, they fulfilled all fixtures, unbeaten!
In 1988, there was such a urge and a push to play for this team, we started a fourth team so players and members of the club had more chance of playing football.
In 2007, the club attained there status as "Adult Charter Standard" and recieved a formal recognition at a presentation held at trhe premises of Leeds United. During that season, our First Team fulfilled there fixtures and came out on top, winning the then "Senior Divison B" champions. Following that, in 2021/22 season, the first team became "West Yorkshire League, Divison 2" champions, with a very successful season!
In the 2024-25 season, the club decided to go back to the roots of the club, and go with 2 teams in the Yorkshire Amatuer League, falling into the bottom 2 divisions of the league. This means the club can start fresh and look onto bigger avenues.
